The Inshore Sea Garden is the perfect trip for beginners and those on a budget. This trip will take you to a shallow reef area relatively close to shore (1/2-1 mile) and is quite shallow with depths between 1 and 15 feet on top of the reef. Because of its proximity to the shoreline and shallow depths, the water clarity, while still very good, is not like the offshore sites, and the coral is not as lush as the offshore sites, but still very beautiful and plentiful. A big plus for the Inshore Sea Garden is everything is up close because of the shallow depths. All of the coral is literally in your face for up close inspection and the fish are nearly close enough to grab! Underwater photos come out really good, showing all the detail and intricacies of the coral reef.
